    Desearch x Bittensor

    How Desearch runs on Bittensor Subnet 22, and what that means for you as an API user.

    How it works

    Desearch search is served by Bittensor Subnet 22, a decentralized network of independent operators.

    • Miners run search infrastructure and answer queries from sources like the web, X (Twitter), Reddit, and Arxiv.
    • Validators score the quality of miners' answers.
    • Rewards follow those scores, so miners compete on result quality.

    The Desearch API sits in front of this network. You call normal REST endpoints; routing to miners happens behind the API.

    What you need to know

    Nothing about Bittensor changes how you integrate. You authenticate with an API key, pay in USD, and never touch the TAO token or run any network software.
